Australia Dependent Visa: All You Need to Know About

 With the Australian Dependent Visa, you can bring your dependent family members, such as children, parents, grandparents, spouse, etc., to Australia to temporarily live with you. Australia Dependent Visa Processing

First, let's see the processing of the Australia Dependent Visa, which has a few subclasses.

Subclass 309 Visa: This Visa allows an Australian local, Australian PR holder, or certified New Zealand citizen to temporarily live in Australia as a spouse or partner. However, you must be in a genuine relationship to apply for this visa. Please note some details about this visa.

        It is a temporary visa with which you can usually stay from 15 to 24 months, after which you must leave Australia unless you get a Subclass 100 Visa.

        You can obtain the permanent partner visa after receiving it.

        You must be outside Australia when applying.

With this visa, you can do the following.

        Work or study in Australia.

        Travel in and out of Australia till your visa is valid.

        Take indefinite hours of English classes till you reach the professional level.

        Get Medicare services.

        You can include family members and dependent children in your original application.

Student Dependents

 Plan to arrive in Australia for study. You can include your family members in your original visa application, or you can apply for individual visas for each member after commencing your course.

Including in original form: In case you are including your family members in your visa application, then you must include the members' details in Form 157A, your visa must have at least 12 months validity, and you must have finances, insurance, etc. to cover all expenses.  

Obtaining individual visas: If you are applying for your family members after beginning your degree program, you must submit the documents HS Consultants Education & Migration mentions below.

        Form 919 and Form 157A.

        A letter from one of your faculty stating the name of your course, course duration, expected completion date, and whether you satisfy all course criteria.

        Evidence that you can financially aid your dependent family members.

        Proof of family ties.

        Evidence that your dependents are healthy.

        You need proof of school enrolment for school-aged children.

Post-study work dependents: If you are a post-study work visa holder, you must submit proof of employment with other documents such as PCC and evidence relationship.

Work Visa dependents

Australia provides numerous children's visa subclasses to help you bring your child to the country. To obtain this visa, you must be either a PR holder, a New Zealand local, or an Australian citizen. Here are the subclasses.

        Child Visa 101.

        Child Visa 102.

        Child Visa 802.

        Child Visa 445.

        Your child obtains the right to study and complete education in Australia.

        Your child is eligible to receive Australian citizenship.
